HR Campus

From consultant to globetrotter

Mathias Dörig left HR Campus to discover the world by bike. He always remained a friend to us.

Mathias Dörig from Lucerne was the fourth employee to join the SAP SuccessFactors Team at HR Campus. Today, it is the largest Team in the company. "Mathias is the kind of person you look at and think: that's a cool guy!" enthuses HR Campus CEO Moritz Marti. In his day-to-day work, the former psychology and sports student combines sensitivity and motivation: perfect qualities for a consultant in the up-and-coming HR Campus Team.

Gripped by the desire to travel ...

"Mäthu was always on the move," recalls Moritz Marti. For example, he completed the Jungfrau Marathon in under four hours one day after a lavish "Campus Treff". After seven years at HR World Campus, this urge to exercise, coupled with a great love of travelling, prompted Mathias Dörig to take a year out and discover the world by bike. Together with his partner, he cycled through Tajikistan, China and Iran, among other places.

... and caught up in wanderlust

Mathias Dörig returned to HR Campus as a team leader with adventurous stories in his luggage. "During a photo and film evening about his trip, we were all amazed," recalls Moritz Marti. Of course, the passionate cyclist never let go of his wanderlust. After two years, Mäthu left HR Campus for good and set off again.

Once HR Campus - always HR Campus

The adventurer has now settled back in Switzerland with his family. As a coach at ONEDAY AG , he works with HR Campus on a regular basis. "Mathias has always remained a good friend over the years," says Moritz Marti. "Once you're part of the HR Campus family, you always stay connected."
