Company founder Marek Dutkiewicz hands over the management of the HR consulting company to a dynamic management team headed by Moritz Marti as CEO on 1 January 2020 after more than 20 years of management. With this step, HR Campus is demonstrating foresight and preparing for the future with this generational change. The University of St. Gallen accompanied the succession process.
Last year, HR Campus celebrated the historic milestone of the company's twentieth anniversary. Now the second historic turning point is on the horizon. HR Campus has doubled in size over the last five years to 160 employees, which has significantly changed the company structure. The company focused on continuity and innovation early on by being one of the first HR consultancies in Switzerland to invest in cloud technology and rejuvenate the company. Accordingly, succession planning was also focussed on the corporate development of HR Campus. The aim was to prepare HR Campus for the future, to further expand its successful market position and to live the "Happy Employee, Happy Company" mission itself and make it a reality in other companies.
The handover was carefully planned and prepared together with the University of St. Gallen over several years without any time pressure. Dr Frank Halter worked with the Dutkiewicz family and the management team to develop a comprehensive company succession plan. "The collaboration was exemplary and particularly exciting. At HR Campus, Swiss innovation meets Polish roots. This powerful combination is and remains the cornerstone of the successful family business," says Frank Halter.
HR Campus favours independence and remains a genuine family business in order to maintain its fresh, familiar and somewhat crazy culture. The three children have also been active in the company for several years and wife Danuta Dutkiewicz has contributed a great deal to the company's development and culture as a long-standing employee. The two sons Philippe and Dominik Dutkiewicz help to shape the company as part of the management team and daughter Livia Dutkiewicz gives the company its face with her marketing management.
The five-person management team, also known as the Fiveboard, is made up of two long-standing employees Simone and Daniel Burgener, as well as their two sons Dominik and Philippe and the new CEO Moritz Marti. Together, they ensure the continuity and agile functioning of the company. With Moritz, a long-standing member of the Executive Board is following in the footsteps of Marek Dutkiewicz. Thanks to ten years of corporate experience, he carries the vision of HR Campus deep in his heart. For Moritz, who studied social sciences and business administration, one thing is clear: "We are delighted to be taking on this responsible task as a young but experienced management team. With Marek Dutkiewicz as our mentor, we are consistently continuing the course we have taken in recent years and continuing to build on our unique values. Our team spirit and each individual employee will remain the decisive factors in our success in the future."
Marek is very pleased about the generational change: "HR Campus has developed from a pioneer to a market leader over the last 20 years, not least because of the high level of personal responsibility and agility of the young guard. I am delighted to entrust my legacy to this fresh and dynamic group." Marek is retiring from operational management, but will remain part of the Board of Directors as a visionary and will advise the Executive Board as a mentor and sparring partner.
The family-owned company will continue to focus on state-of-the-art HR Software, holistic HR services and personal HR strategy consulting. HR Campus is one of the most experienced HR consultancies in Switzerland and intends to further consolidate its position as an HR opinion leader and market leader.
