Campus Responsibility

At HR Campus, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has always been of great importance and is deeply rooted in our culture. People are at the centre of everything we do. Both internally and externally, we have been committed to social issues since the very beginning.

In our anniversary year 2023, we created a dedicated position that is exclusively devoted to the topic of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The overarching goal is to develop a comprehensive strategy and identify key issues where we can have a positive impact on society and the environment. While social issues are undoubtedly one of our core competences, the urgency of climate change also requires increased attention to environmental concerns.

For us at HR Campus, it is about experiencing joy in our everyday work, creating meaning and not just working for the sake of working. As a company, we want to have a positive impact, be a role model and contribute to important issues. We are motivated by the desire to make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of society and the environment. To make our efforts more transparent, we are planning to introduce ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) reporting. In this way, we not only want to clarify our sustainability goals, but also document the progress of their implementation.

During the festive Christmas season, it is particularly enjoyable to put our convictions into practice. Giving has long been an integral part of our commitment, and this year we have dedicated our support to three projects close to our hearts: "Little Big Hero", "Safisha Africa" and "World Vision".

The fundraising campaign for "Little Big Hero" was very well received by our employees. In addition to the gifts that were part of the donation from HR Campus, our employees lent a helping hand and donated even more toys for the children. Little Big Hero Foundation is a non-profit organisation that works to promote the well-being of children in Zurich Children's Hospital. It supports the hospital clowns, whose imaginative and humorous performances help to make the hospital stays of the young and sometimes seriously ill patients more positive and enjoyable.

Another project that is very close to our hearts is our collaboration with Safisha Africa. Access to high-quality and sustainable Education is key to promoting equal opportunities. With this in mind, the Swiss association " Support for Safisha Africa " supports " Safisha Africa Welfare Foundation " in Kenya. Following the successful construction of the school in the poor neighbourhood of Nairobi, we are helping to finance the running of the school with our donation.

A new organisation that we have supported this year is World Vision, which operates in the immediate vicinity of our headquarters in Dübendorf. With our donation, we are supporting a replanting project in Tanzania. Using the effective method of Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR), devastated soils are greened and the livelihoods of the local people are saved.

We are looking forward to the rest of our journey with "Campus Responsibility" with excitement and joy. Find out more about our Responsibility at here .
