What does it take to found a company?
When the founding of HR Campus was finalised in October 1998, it still had to be finalised contractually. Just before the three founders - Marek, Hendrik and Werner - were about to meet, Marek's phone rang. Hendrik had an urgent question about the upcoming date: "What should we wear for this historic moment?" Marek, with his usual nonchalance, told him to just turn up dressed as he was. And so Werner and Marek signed the contract dressed up in suits and ties and Hendrik in jeans and a T-shirt. He came straight from the haymaking.
