Sophie - the new HR chatbot

"They are the successors to apps". Chatbots are on the rise and are captivating the corporate world with their simplification, assistance and organisational solutions. HR Campus is now launching Switzerland's first HR chatbot together with rhyno solutions. Her name is Sophie.

Business processes as easy as texting your sweetheart

Chatbots facilitate a wide range of processes in the world of work. However, they bring by far the most added value to a company when they act as a digital assistant for employees. HR processes should be just as easy for employees to use as applications that they also use in their free time. Posting an expense receipt should be as simple and intuitive as sending an emoji. The mission for the development of Sophie was clear: "Business processes as easy as texting your sweetheart".

The digital assistant "Sophie"

With the aim of making employees happier, rhyno solutions and HR Campus developed the chatbot "Sophie". Sophie helps employees throughout their Employee Journey with numerous functions and processes in the messaging service of their choice and also proactively contacts them if necessary. For example, the messaging service can be used to record working hours or to check an applicant's qualifications before the actual interview by asking specific questions. The chatbot impresses with its independence from messaging services and backend systems and can be implemented in existing system environments. Every employee gets their own personal assistant, Sophie.

The chatbot as an answer to HR challenges

With its numerous advantages, the chatbot has the potential to simplify many HR processes. It is available to employees around the clock thanks to its independence of time and place and has no days off. It can also be reached via a wide variety of channels and, in particular, is not tied to a specific messaging service. The chatbot helps the company to achieve greater efficiency in HR processes, for example by reducing response times. The versatility of the chatbot also means that there is no need for costly employee training and system introductions. In addition, sources of error are minimised thanks to standardised input and proactive input suggestions.

Partnerships between rhyno solutions and HR Campus

This year, HR Campus has joined forces with the promising start-up rhyno solutions. The small company from Schaffhausen, which was accepted into the Google Start-up Programme, specialises in the field of chatbots, among other things. The founding members are all specialists in the field of chatbot technology. Three of the four founders completed their studies in business informatics this year. In their master's theses, they dealt with the topic of chatbots in a variety of ways and achieved top marks across the board. Thanks to its comprehensive expertise, Rhyno solutions has grown into a company with industry-leading knowledge and experience in the field of chatbots. The 20-year-old family business HR Campus, which has already experienced countless technical, legal and business changes in human resources, is one of the leading HR consultancies in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. HR Campus has set itself the goal of making people happier with practical HR services, intelligent software products and holistic HR strategies. As partners in the field of chatbot technology, rhyno solutions and HR Campus are now launching the result of their first joint project: the digital HR assistant Sophie.
