The first edition of the HR pulse sensor survey was a complete success! We received valuable insights from 318 Swiss HR professionals about the mood in the sector and the priorities for 2024. This year, we focussed in particular on the topic of artificial intelligence and gained insights into the extent to which it is being used in HR. You can gain initial insights into the results in this article.
Large discrepancy in AI applications
Although only 23% of survey participants state that they have consciously integrated AI-based tools and technologies into their HR business processes, over half regularly use tools such as ChatGPT for their personal work tasks. This shows that AI-based tools are already being used in many areas and are becoming increasingly popular, even if integration is still pending in some companies.
participants state that they use ChatGPT and similar tools in particular for generating concepts, ideas and research on complex HR topics. They are also actively used to create drafts of job descriptions and references. At the same time, however, companies are reluctant to implement AI in their processes due to data protection concerns and a lack of financial and human resources. The results of the survey show that there is hardly any difference in this gap in application between SMEs and Large Enterprises.
