25 years of HR Campus - 25 years on the road together. As we all know, successes should be celebrated, and that's exactly what we did at this year's HR Experience Campus followed by an anniversary party. We celebrated this milestone in style with 700 partners, customers and Campus members. It was a day full of special moments and we are overwhelmed, grateful and proud of what we have achieved together. In this article, we take a look back at the highlights of this unforgettable day.
The HR Experience Campus took place for the third time and has now established itself as an indispensable fixture in the Swiss HR landscape. The number of participants literally exploded with 700 HR enthusiasts, which clearly shows how great the need for inspiration and personal dialogue is in the HR industry. The event was opened by Simone Burgener, COO, and Moritz Marti, CEO, who explained this year's motto and company slogan - Happy Employee, Happy Company. Does that mean we've run out of ideas? Not at all. In fact, this motto reflects exactly what we stand for. Together with customers and partners, HR Campus sets the framework for satisfied employees who together achieve great things for the benefit of the company.

"Do you understand your employees? Your boss? Life stage companions? Or yourself?"
In an inspiring keynote speech, Prof Dr Lutz Jäncke addressed the question of whether our brains are really made for the demands of modern communication. As a neuroscientist and psychologist, he is busy researching the strange nature of the human being on a daily basis, as he himself says. Humans are more complex to understand than quantum physics. 30 million years ago, Homo sapiens were driven by curiosity to explore the world in small groups. This curiosity is deeply rooted in us. Why in small groups? Humans need a Team - we are not loners. The internet, an endless source of information and nonsense, overwhelms our brain as it was not designed to process this vast amount. Multitasking is not a strength of our brains. Instead, we should concentrate on focussing on the essentials and strengthening our self-discipline. Our focus should therefore be on what is really important to us. In the subsequent panel discussion with Cristian Grossmann, CEO of Beekeeper , and Nadia Korrodi, Head of HR at HR Campus, it became clear that digital communication is indispensable today, but that targeted use must be at the forefront. Prof Dr Jäncke concluded the discussion by saying that direct human contact and a smile can never be completely replaced by Technology.
Inspiring HR breakout sessions
In a total of ten breakout sessions, customers reported on their successfully implemented HR projects and shared their experiences and lessons learnt. Liechtensteinische Landesbank, for example, used its strategic employee surveys and the resulting feedback to implement tangible improvements in the working environment in a timely manner. In its session, Läderach AG showed how a comprehensive digitalisation project was developed from HR Health Check . This not only transformed the entire HR department, but also created a future-proof foundation for further global projects. In addition to these inspiring testimonials, innovative and pioneering technologies were presented. These include numerous add-on options that make the use of SAP SuccessFactors even more effective. Equally impressive was Sophie , our digital HR assistant and chatbot. illwerke vkw showed in their session how Sophie has revolutionised HR support and at the same time increased employee satisfaction. In the exciting Startup Pitch session, three founders had the opportunity to present their startups in a ten-minute pitch. They showed how they are changing the world of work and what problem they are solving. Job.rocks ag won the award, the golden duck.

25 years of Happy Employee, Happy Company - where is the journey going?
After a motivating practical input from Helvetia Insurances AG, in which Hamiyet Dogan, Head of HR, showed how the company has changed since 2017, we took a look at the history of HR Campus and ventured a look into the future.
A lot has happened in 25 years. Initially, the focus in HR was on core topics such as Payroll, HR Administration and Time Management. As a classic SAP consulting company, we concentrated on SAP implementations and support in the early years. With the evolution of HR into the most important discipline in companies and technological cloud developments, we have expanded our range of topics. Today, we are extremely versatile, maintain a large number of valuable Partners and offer comprehensive Software solutions, which enables us to carry out HR digitalisation projects in Switzerland and Liechtenstein as well as internationally. Over the last 10 years, we have invested heavily in strategic consulting to fulfil the great needs of our customers in this area. Today, we have a strong consulting team that supports our customers in strategic issues. What some people may not realise: In recent years, we have grown to become one of the leading outsourcing providers, particularly in the area of payroll processing. Every month, we process over 50,000 payslips at our service centre in Dübendorf. With HR People, we offer our customers the option of using temporary staff to bridge staff shortages or implement projects and change processes. In short: today we cover all HR topics from A-Z and we are very proud of that!
Before the big anniversary party began, we took a look into the future. Our identity is of central importance. Five years ago, there were 100 fewer people in the company. And we want to remain true to our family values in the future and continue to live by them and pass them on - to the next 100. Sustainability and the responsible use of resources play a key role in this. And not only in economic terms, but also in social terms with regard to our employees - keyword people sustainability. A promise to us and our companions is that we will keep our finger on the pulse, actively listen and continuously improve our HR services.
