Career & Talent Development supports HR in the administrative tasks of succession planning. With just a few clicks, nominations can be recognised in terms of their readiness and the talent flags are visible. In various views (e.g. organisation chart, position tiles, talent pools), the module helps to maintain an overview. Calibration enables the structured organisation of People Days. Mentoring programmes can be set up and made available for development, and development goals can be revised.

With manager self service, access rights can be defined and restricted for both the follow-up details and the calibration session.

Employee self service is supplemented by the module for maintaining development goals with learning objectives or competences. It is also possible to take part in mentoring programmes in the role of both mentor and mentee.

A structured talent review form records the relevant information for the People Days directly in the tool. These details serve as the basis for the discussions in the calibration sessions. Adjustments during the session are recorded directly in the tool, which reduces the need for post-processing. HR and line managers can use the time gained for effective employee development planning.

With SAP SuccessFactors Career & Talent Development, succession-relevant information is stored directly in the tool and is available in the right place at the right time. Involved persons can be directly involved in the process,  which means that all steps from information collection to the maintenance of development goals and mentoring relationships are recorded.

The Talent Intelligence Hub is integrated into the SuccessFactors platform and is used by companies to collect, analyse and manage talent data. It integrates various data sources such as performance appraisals, training history, feedback, certifications and more to create a comprehensive picture of employees' skills and potential and develop individual employee profiles.

The implementation time of the Opportunity Marketplace module in SAP SuccessFactors can vary greatly depending on the complexity of the project, the specific requirements and the preparation of the company. However, as it is a module that brings together the offerings of the sub-modules, the implementation is usually faster and can then be expanded on an ongoing basis.
