When 50 employees become 250 within a few weeks, clear processes are needed. At the Valais ski resort Portes du Soleil Suisse, Excel lists and manual processes had long caused a great deal of effort in HR. With Personio, the team has reorganised its HR management - structured, centralised and much more efficient.

Initial situation
Seasonal work characterises the HR of Portes du Soleil Suisse. While there are around 60 employees in summer, the team grows to up to 250 people in winter. This dynamic brings with it numerous entries and exits every year. HR administration was carried out using Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and various filing systems. Information was distributed, reminders were set manually and each onboarding required a lot of coordination. There was no centralised database. The goal was clear: an intuitive HR system that bundles all data and supports Onboarding & Offboarding with automated tasks and clear responsibilities.
The project
The starting signal was given with a design workshop for the Personio core module. The HR team then implemented the solution step by step - accompanied by regular consultations with the HR Campus consultant. After the data migration, the team put all parameters, processes and data through their paces. Four months later, Personio was in productive use.

Results
The change was immediately noticeable. HR administration is now much more efficient and the feedback on onboarding is consistently positive: clear, fast and structured. Access rights are assigned centrally and uniformly - what used to be time-consuming is now a clear advantage. Instead of using various Excel files, the Team now works with a centralised solution. All data is bundled in Personio and available at any time.
