Initial situation
JURA Management AG, consisting of 14 Swiss companies in the building materials industry, was faced with the challenge of introducing a central HR system for its 600 employees at 30 different locations.
The aim was to harmonise, optimise, digitalise and finally automate the employee master data and talent processes. As the majority of employees do not have access to a laptop or PC due to their work in the workshops, the HR system also needed to be accessible via smartphone at all times.
Solution & Project
By choosing SAP SuccessFactors, JURA Management AG opted for a modular HR suite that enables integrated processes and meaningful reporting. Employees and managers benefit from end-to-end HR processes within a single system. The mobile app allows access anytime and anywhere, while the UKG Document Manager ensures fast, digital access to all personnel files.
The implementation was carried out step by step following HR Campus’ proven best-practice project approach. The project started with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including Time Off and Payroll, forming the foundation for the HR master data and payroll system. This was followed by the implementation of the Time Tracking and Performance & Goals modules. In further expansion phases, Recruiting and Compensation were introduced. In addition, HR Campus digitised the physical personnel files using the UKG Document Manager.
Results
Today, JURA Management AG benefits from an integrated HR landscape with end-to-end processes and centralised reporting. Employees and managers handle HR tasks efficiently – including on mobile devices. At the same time, digital access to personnel files increases transparency and significantly reduces the administrative workload in day-to-day HR operations. The close collaboration with HR Campus and the early involvement of managers and employees were key factors in the project’s success.
